Services

If you are in a time of transition, loss, confusion, or are struggling with feelings of anxiety or depression, therapy can be a significantly helpful resource.  Therapy can be a way to build your own support system and carve out time in your week that is only for you.  I will help you to identify patterns and feelings living in the unconscious that are keeping you blocked from moving toward your potential and living a more authentic life.  Symptoms serve as arrows that point to the wound.  I follow the symptoms and work with and identify the underlying issues.  If given the space and time, the psyche will always move toward healing.

My graduate studies at Saybrook University emphasized a systems based approach to therapy.  This training has taught me that my client may feel his or her own pain individually, but that pain reverberates through the entire system they live in.  That system may be their family, work, organizations, community or culture as a whole.  As a therapist, I understand that any changes that my client may make as a result of our work together may tip the balance of the system they inhabit.  For this reason, I cannot isolate them from the whole as I try to help them to find a healthier balance in life.  I must see them as one part of a functioning system.  My training enables me to keep my clients entire network in focus as we work together, allowing me to give greater support and insight.
